The feeling when I don't know what to do or where to go next!
I was kind of lost the last few weeks, where nothing appears good to me. I supposed to keep working on Java because that's what I was wanting to. But eventually everything seemed to be non-worthy. I need some refreshing I think.

C is the basic.... i kinda agree with the article but i have to say it's not used in the new, common applications... but as a start C is the best to lunch to the programming world and definitely will help u, unlike other languages, in the system programming and while u r using Linux....once u deeply understand the C and C++ languages, all other languages will be a piece of cake (i.e. easy)...
